Vidhi is a project of a ritual carried out in a small village named 'Chota Udepur'; Pithora is a traditional painting of this village, which lies on the border of Gujarat and MP.

The painting includes the use of vibrant colors, usually attained by natural pigments of the flowers and leaves. It includes many animals and villagers having a celebration. After immense research and visiting the village, I gathered the main pointers to help me with the process. I worked with gharara and deconstructed it to make new designs and make it contemporary.

Adding a touch of the craft pithora to it, I explored one silhouette in around a hundred ways to get to the final ones. Along with these limitations, it helped me understand how many parts could have variations and together how much they contribute to it.
