Ritu Kumar was born on 11th November 1944. She completed her education at Briar College, New York, and Lady Irwin, Delhi. She's one of the largest and the most respected Indian designer. Her labels include designs with impeccable patterns, intricate modern motifs, and royal fabrics. Her unique selling point would be 'Reviving' old art forms.

In this project,we studied the collections in depth, understood the design sensibilities, and designed for the brand. The collections showcased crafts in significant areas, and they always talked about the revival of a different art form every time. My lineup was an effort to fit into her contemporary range of clothes hence understanding the aesthetics.
